I've been listening to the South Wind Blows on Radio 1 on Sunday nights from 9pm over the last few weeks.

I think its a great show, yer man Phillip King sounds like he's the last broadcaster still playing the tunes while Rome falls.

Playlist last night included Thin Lizzy, Jape Damo Dempsey, Emmy Lou Harris and Dylan.

I agree that it's a great show, playing very good music. Phillip King has a great knowledge of his play list.

I tune in if I'm driving after 9pm on Sunday, but that time slot more often will not suit me.

    Just heard tonights installment.

Quite possibly the best music on Radio 1. It has its time and place.

And quite possibly the best music presenter on Irish radio.

One of the best shows on Irish radio yes the music is great but the pictures he paints with his words puts this show into a different class

I usually catch it when it is repeated at 3 or 4 in the morning Wednesday nights. Great show

For fans of 'South Wind Blows', you might like 'Celtic Heartbeart' on BBC Radio Wales - Sunday nights 6-8pm
