Watch out for the kilkenny vintage sale on the callan rd. in march as I was at it last year and they charged me 30 euro to park up my classic for sale. No mention of this charge in the brochure or as I was driving in. They charge 5 euros for the punters and 30 for the sellers with probally little chance of a sale. Bit of a rob I think. No wonder there was no mention of the 30euro. Quality of cars for sale last year was poor and asking prices were too high .

I was at this show and sell event aswell and thought is was quite good value.I went as a punter and think €5 admission is for nothing these days.
I'd say there were 30/40 cars for sale, some very nice and some not great.
Can't comment on the amount of sales made, but diden't seem to be much happening.not many sold signs around.
The organisers seemed to be doing a good job and i was directed to a handy parking space when i arrived.
All in all a good day out and good value for money.
I'll be at the next one.

The punters pay €5 and are directed to the car park:)....If you are a seller you pay €30 and are directed to either the indoor area(if you are early enough;))or the the yard infront of the main area which is still a good spot as many of the autojumblers are set up there.
It is advertised as a Car Sale:rolleyes:, so I think it is fair to assume that if you want to enter a car into a Car Sale, you pay an entry free!
