This is taken from adverts.ie, but it's an old ad, and I presume the bike sold a long time ago, but it came up again for me in a search and I just think it's an absolute stunner of a bike.

A lot of frames now have that sort of swoopy effect from front to rear which actually has the effect of making the geometry look a bit relaxed, like the rear is lower than the front, but I think here it's the 808 rear and shallower front that sets the bike's stance back on its haunches and gives it that front endy agressive sort of poise.

The fuji lettering over the seatpost is savage as well, and - there was something minimalist about the bike that I couldn't figure out, and I've just copped it! - No bottle holders! - Right, that's it, I'm ripping mine off, I'll camelbak it or something :D:D

Still new to all this so......... what?

Amongst the sometimes-written rules of posting bike porn:

    - Driveside must face camera. It's the "myspace angle" of bikes.
    - Big gear must be selected.
    - Quick releases must be properly oriented (this is a bit of a contentious one).
    - Cranks must be horizontal (not totally sure about this).
    - Wheels must be oriented to hide valve caps.
    - Tyre logos must be aligned and horizontal.
    - Road bikes must be spotless, off-road bikes may be either spotless or very muddy

...there are probably others I've forgotten.

    :pac:

Quick releases down, up or aligned with fork/seat stay?

Do the rules allow changing position for photo and race? This is a very serious matter...

Fat Bloke - I think that you're fairly new here so maybe you haven't seen the Post images of beauty thread yet. It used to be a sticky. There should be plenty there to kick your salivary glands into overdrive and it's the thread to post beautiful images of your own bikes or bikes you've found elsewhere.
