applying for FAS course - did you send a CV?

I'm looking for some info from anyone who's applied for FÁS courses. I met with a FÁS advisor in December & he put my name forward for a course starting at the end of March.

Before the interviews come around (the next 2-3 weeks - if I even get called that is!) I need to send in a letter of sponsorship for the work experience / apprenticeship part of the course (which I *hopefully* will get next week), and am going to attach a cover letter.

I'm just wondering if anyone else would send a CV at this point? The advisor I met in December didn't really look at the CV I brought in for our appointment, just the info on the registration form I filled in on the day. You can really only say a few sentences in a cover letter, so I'm wondering if it's the "done thing" or not to also send a CV.

    Thanks!
