Will be in Asia for 6 months, leaving in June. However, as Vietnam is definitely on the "to visit countries"....I've no idea what date we'll be wanting to go there. We will also be arriving via land and not by plane. So my question is: How do I go about sorting out a visa for vietnam when I'm in Asia. I'd like the visa on…

What country are you going to be in before Vietnam? Just get it there would be the easiest thing

Bangkok is one of the best places in the world to organise visas so ideally hit Thailand first.
