Anybody ever used their Blackstar HT-5 with a band?

Thinking about picking up one of these little monsters, I think they sound pretty good for such a low price.

Only problem is, I'll be using it for practicing with a band. It's kind of a thrash metal band, so a clean channel isn't really needed to be honest  metal's not normally my style, actually it never has been, but it'll be my main band. And the ht-5's perfect for my normal style of classic/punk/indie rock.

The only other amp I've been looking at is the Orange Tiny Terror combo, for around 410 new, which has a hell of a lot more headroom. Expensive though.

Or if anyone has any suggestions for an amp in and around 400, decent clean channel, good OD, preferably a combo for Indie/Rock/Punk, and with stacked pedals for metal.

I had one last year. Clean channel would not be loud enough. You would need to max the overdrive channel and it might sound very saturated. Fine if that is your thing, but i felt the overdrive was a bit processed. It is not completely all valve.
