This has been mentioned in passing a few times.
But would folks be interested in a car boot sale at all. Buy, sell, swap etc
I will be more than likely leaving Dublin in the not to distant future and literally have tones of stuff (incl a bike, wheels, groupset, saddle, bars, gear etc) that I will need to shift.

Anyone else with piles of stuff just sitting around that they want to sell.

Yep, I'm sure it would be great. I've long dreamed of a Dublin Cycle Jumble. In a previous thread on the topic I suggested the car park at the back of the Bernard Shaw as a venue, when the weather picks up in a month or two. It's not too big but can fit a good few cars and tables also as it's attached to a pub with a beer garden it could be a great social event. Apart from people here, I've been thinking of various other businesses/companies that would probably be interested in setting out stalls.

With decent promotion and good word of mouth this could really take off. Perhaps Rothar would help us by advertising on their website?? If there's enough interested people here maybe we could meet up and discuss plans at some point?

Just gave a load of my stuff to a newbie mate, dang... still I feel like I gave back to the sport which has given me so much.
I'm off to ring Bono now to meet for a skinny latte.......
