Smashbox eyeshadow

I buy MAC eyeshadows because they stay on for ages but I was at the Smashbox counter & some of their colours are fab, are they any good? I've never heard any hype about them.

Only ever bought one eyeshadow from them, got it when going through duty free and by the time i got to my destination and opened to use that evening it was in bits...... literally smashed, so their brand name seems to be quite appropriate! My friend was given one as a gift, she used it once, took it out of her bag later that night to touch up and it was smashed too! Theyve lovely colours and the texture is lovely but these experiences have put me off buying again. No doubt others will have good things to say though. :rolleyes:

Hey there I've only ever had one of the trios (ie the circle thats divided into three segments) and I also had the muse palette before.

I found the pigmentation on the trio to be too sheer for my liking and I didnt really like the colours on the palette so not sure if Id be the best to advise.

Maybe swatch your arm at the counter and see how the pigmentation is on the colours you like - I know the girls on beaut.ie have recommended them before.

I've never had a problem with them smashing, I think they're really good and really pigmented

The new Smashbox bloom palette looks so pretty, really want it, but I've already splurged on enough eyeshadows for this year
They sounds like they are no good for travelling, bummer.......
