Check out the Vidella, by the north pier. You can usually find a good deal on lastminute.com etc and it's run by a gay couple (which I wasn't aware of until I was leaving). Has a nice bar etc but it's marketed heavily to families so there can be a lot of families with young children. Very fair about returning late and great with handing out tokens, coupons etc to some of the clubs and restaurants.

Have had friends stay in a place called the Denville or Deville (can't recall ) and they liked it but it was a bit noisy as it's right on the prom.
