Recommend a Sofabed?

    Hi,
    My Grandfather has become quite unsteady on his feet and has decided that he might get a sofa bed to avoid using the stairs. From looking online and any I’ve ever seen in person, they seem very uncomfortable.

    Has anyone out there come across a comfortable sofabed?

    Hi,
    I'm also looking for a good sofa bed, and like yourself the ones i've seen in furniture shops are those fold out ones, and feel uncomfortable. I've been looking for one that the base slides out to make a 'divan' type bed. Closest i've found is this one at IKEA http://www.ikea.com/ie/en/catalog/products/10125721
    Looks comfy, and you can add a mattress topper to make it even softer, however would like to go and see it. There are videos on you tube how to assemble this and it looks good. NEXT do a similiar one for a couple of hundred euro more, what the difference is, I do not know.
    Will be watching this thread with interest.
