Hi all,

Is there anyone out there doing the Irish Times Six Nations Quiz? Any rugby enthusiasts looking in? Please help: questions 4: Who broke a finger during Ireland's Grand Slam winning match against Wales at the Millennium Stadium in 2009?
Question 9: Outside of Dublin where else in Ireland might a club have played a fixture at Lansdowne Road?
Question 14: Who scored Ireland's first ever four point try?

Cristofoletto became founder and president of the Italian Association of Rugby coaches. Maybe that had never been done before by a player and that is why it is unusual.

I thought the year was 2009. If so, you are correct IMO.

They played against each other that year

The brothers are Bergamasco (Italy) and Evans (Scotland) - they represented their respective countries - not played against each other.

Rory & Sean Lamont - they have not played for Scotland SINCE 2000 - which is the exact question asked - they played since 2005.

First player to get sent off in a 6 nations match and first to get sent off by getting two yellows in a 6 nations game.

Pablo Deluca of Argentina was the first referee to send off a player in a Six Nations match when he sent off Walter Cristofoletto of Italy for "vigorous rucking" in Paris when France beat Italy 42-31. In Cristofoletto's case it was actually a yellow card but two yellow cards added up to a red card, which had novelty value of its own.

Q 19:
I think Blackrock is the school with the most Lions players - 10, with an extra one - Conal O'Doherty 1977 - he wasn't included in the list of 10, but maybe because he was on the British Lions tour and later it became the British and Irish Lions. Still, a Lions!
