My heads wrecked! I've lost the key to my fairly battered 00 Passat - no spare. I'd be more than happy to hotwire it if that was possible, I seriously dont want to pay hundreds to get it replaced. anyone any thoughts on the best way to get it running - the car's not a million miles from the scrap heap so bear in mind i'm not too fussy about getting stuck in to it, if it got me through another few weeks i'd be happy. i suppose the immobilizer means i'd have to get it to a garage or something but i really dont want to spend the bucks - but maybe i've no option:confused:

    Any thoughts peops?

Any thoughts? Are you a car thief? :)

I would make enquiries about the key first.

You'll be doing well to defeat the immobiliser tbh

Anyway I really wouldn't be comfortable with the information you need being publicised here :)
