6 NATIONS FIXTURE LIST

    I don't know if this has been mentioned before but what is up with the same fixtures being on the same round of games especially in recent years.

    Wales always play England at the start
    Scotland always play Italy at the end

    They're loads more other examples but who decides the fixture list for the 6 nations? BBC? Country's union?

    Well in 2009 England played Italy to start and Scotland playedEngland to end.
    2007 - start - England vs Scotland/ end - Scotland vs France

    and I couldn't be bothered checking the years before that

    I'm pretty sure there is a two year draw for rounds. We started Ireland vs Italy last year and this year. Next two years we have Wales vs Ireland as a kick off.

    We always seem to play France in Paris in the second match.
