What type of clothes would/do you normally wear? Dresses/tops/jeans/leggings/skirts etc? Shoes/boots, heels/flats?

How much are you looking to spend?

Is there anyone you will/won't shop?

Is there any particular type of clothing you won't wear?

    Hi Purple Bobbin
    thanks for the reply.
I normally wear jeans and tops. I have 3 pairs of levi jeans that I love and feel good in. I bought some tops and tshirts recently. I would also like to buy clothes that are casual but that I look good in. I have to buy a new coat. Some dresses for nights out. I dont like paying too much for dresses as i normally only wear them once or twice. I want to plan on spending about 300 a month and build up a good wardrobe of clothes. I am going on holiday this year but I do have summer clothes that I can now get back into so its mainly looking for casual smart clothes. I wear a uniform to work so thats not an issue. i dont want to waste money on clothes I am not going to wear. When I go shopping I am indecisive for what I need.

    How old are you OP?

Good jeans are important, and you say you've got some Levi's, perfect!

You could start building a "capsule" wardrobe, a collection of basics that you can add season trends to.
I would include the following, but these may be amended with age:
    - dark wash flared jeans
    - wide leg trousers
    - white shirt
    - black dress, shift or galaxy style
    - pencil skirt
    - one other skirt
    - long sleeve and tank plain jersey tops
    - trench coat
    - blazer

After that you can work in trends with patterned tops, scarves, jewelry, shoes etc.

Also, do you want us to put out together for you? Or are you asking what you should by (tops, trousers, dresses etc)?

    Sorry if it's a silly question.:o
