Don't know if anyone can help?
Our washer/dryer glass bowl on the inside of the door is badly cracked. I only noticed it this morning. Dryer has not been used in a week so it wasnt a hot to cold scenario that caused it. Quite baffled tbh.

It is 3 yrs old in June so would the part be covered under warranty or would I have had to register the warranty?

You don't need to register with Indesit for the warranty if you're in Ireland. Just be careful. They could turn around and blame the break on your part, depending on what they may say it could be. Odds are you should be alright though.

Thanks for that. It is really badly cracked, Cannot understand why?
I will give them a call and see what they say.

Very rare indeed for the glass to crack, the only time (once in 30yrs) i have seen this was caused by the inner drum hitting the glass on spin because the main bearing was nackered, is your machine noisy on spin ?

Easy fitted if you need to do it yourself, but don't waste your money until you know it isn't some other malfunction that caused it.

    Part available here........ http://www.espares.co.uk/part/washing-machines/indesit/widl126/p/1085/805/0/511122/656379/white-washing-machine-doo.html

It is noisy on spin but it has always been like that.

It looks easy to change alright. Will have a proper look tomo,No other previous problems apart from a tenner stuck in the filter, always nice to solve a problem and pocket a few quid!

more then likely caused by something that was in your wash.that hit the glass.ive seen it before when keys where in someones pocket and another time when a pair of runners were washed. your parts should be covered.Indesit wont be able to prove how it cracked so id say you should call them out.

I called indesit parts this morning, €74 for new door including courier from Derry.
Guy on phone said if I called Indesit the part would probably be covered but there would be a call out fee of €114.

Checked filter found 50c, I have found a coin from time to time in the piece of rubber inbetween the drum and the door.I wouldnt have thought runners would be an issue, there is even a cycle on this machine for sports shoes
