I am about to receive an iphone 3gs and i am am wondering what is the best network. I want free texts to all networks and a good data plan. So far 3 seems the best with topping up €20 a month , you receive free texts to all networks and €10 euro extra credit. The data add on is €5 for 250mb. I am a light browser Facebook , Twitter, Google etc but as im a student might do this quiet often.

Id like to hear peoples opinions on their network and plans and any recommendations are welcome.

Vodafone. €20 a month. Free texts to all networks. Sign onto the 360 data bundle, which costs 39c a day for 100MB a day. That leaves about €8 a month for a calls. Much better coverage, much better customer service, and 100MB a day is much better than 250MB a month.

It's worth pointing out this isn't a permanent offer, but they have extended the deadline for about 6 months straight now so enjoy it while you can.

Try using the search facility for "prepay", there are loads of threads about it.

Hi, Ive just signed up to vodafone 360 with my 3gs. Do I have to subsribe to the special tarrif or is it automatically added once I sign up. If its not, where can I opt in to this tarrif? I cant seem to find anything about it on the site.

Their website could be better at explaining it yeah. You must sync your contacts with Vodafone 360 every 30 days to keep the offer going (easiest thing to do there is download the 360 iPhone app and do it through that). You don't get any confirmation text saying you've signed up to it which is annoying, but if you want to double check you can ask them on the Vodafone forum here or send them a tweet @vodafoneirl
