Rent Allowance

I have been renting a room for the past 8 months in a house with 2 other people. Recently one has moved out and my rent has increases as a result, putting extreme severity on my finances.

I only work part time at the moment, 25 hours a week, take home €350

Since the moving out of a tenant my rent is nearly hafl this weekly

Would i qualify for any level of the rent supplement do you think?

You said rent accounts for half your pay. Which means your pay is €1575 per month and your rent is €787.50. Rent supplement in some parts of Dublin is only provided where rent is €390 MAX per month, and in other counties is €190 max.

Not to mention you'll completely flunk the means test. Take home pay of €350 for working half a week? Not bad. But unfortunately welfare doesn't favour the well-off.
