I have just built a sunroom extension attached to my kitchen which has an oil stove that just heats the kitchen. i was thinking of taking out this stove and installing a duel system so the new stove would heat both the kitchen/sunroom thru room heat and radiator heat and also heat the domestic hot water. i would like peoples opinions on the following questions please as any advice would be much appreciated

    1. will the stove be capable of heating both rooms with room heat or will the kitchen get too warm as this is where the current stove is located as the output needed is approx 3kw for the kitchen and 4.75kw for the sunroom ?? (there is a big sliding double door seperating both rooms). i was thinking of buying a stove capable of running 8-10 rads and as the house is already zoned this shouldn,t be much problem to set up.

    2. how effective are dual systems as oil is the main heat source in the house at present ??

    3. would i just be better off buying a room heat stove only for the two rooms (if so will the heat travel between the 2 rooms evenly or will one room be warmer than the other) and forget abt the duel system and connect my new sunroom rads to the existing oil central heating ??

    4. are the new external oil condensing boilers much more effective than the old models as i was also thinking of replacing my boiler at the same time as it is approx 8 years old

any advice would be much appreciated as to be honest im in total limbo land as to what to buy / install

    many thanks
