Just got one of these delivered, I had the HT-5 previously and didn't like it, but I'm seriously impressed with the HT-1. I got the reverb model and as practice amps go it's a winner, lot's of flexibility on dialing in tone and just enough volume.

Just couldn't get the tone I wanted out of it. Maybe I just picked up a bad un at the time !

I had a HT-5 last year. Nice clean, but the overdrive sounded a bit processed and wasn't very natural sounding. The HT-1 sounded good on the demos alright though.

Well, by the sounds of things I reckon you like a nice crunchy bluesy tone?

I think it's just that because it's so small, you're driving the preamp of the HT-1 a lot more than you would have with the HT-5 and getting a nicer crunch to your tone.

thats what I love most about the HT1, I can really drive the tubes without bringing down the walls. Nice.

Ok, I know we sell them in the store and all, and I bought a reverb one myself, but we tried them through different cabs today and WOW! Terrific sound through 1X12, 2X12 and 4X12 cabs.

Opened my eyes to what I thought was just a lovely home amp. Now I reckon it's a SERIOUS recording amp.
