Buying a new car, don't know anything about cars.

    I'm currently in the process of buying my second car after driving a Mitsubishi Colt for the last 2 years.
    I have about 3,00 grand to spend on the car. And as a 22 year old female with a 2 years no claims bonus, insurance shouldnt be too much of a problem.

    Any suggestions on what might be a good car as i know very little about cars? Ive been recommended Ford Fiesta, Toyota Corolla and Volkswagen Golf so far.
