This is the first short I have made. Comments welcome. Some advice on framing the shot (as I feel I have difficulty picking the right shot) and the editing would be helpful.

The whole film was shot in about 2 hours, and with one actor pretty much. It had no story really, we just made it up as we went along I suppose. So dont be too mean :o Shot on a Canon HV20 and a Rode Videomic

    pretty good,
a couple of slight hiccups, (0:53 and 1:27).
the shot progression could be a bit brisker too, but really nice job, the camera work was entertaining, the music was well suited, the background noise was fairly equalised, i'm sure you'll be lashing out some fairly great stuff soon if ya keep screwinj' round!

Really liked it. Once or twice the transitions were a bit shaky like the door in the car park changing from car park to stair case and a Tripod shot to handheld on the stairs but other than that it was really good.
    Where abouts you from ?
    Good location choice.
Im currently working on a 12min Film short for college

I find the h264 vimeo media encoder preset to be good. One thing I noticed with utube is your initial upload settings won't be great. Once your video starts to get popular they tend to up the quality. My clip started out with ok quality but after about 30k hits the quality changed -
