Tag Heuer Carrera (day and date) opinions??

    Just came across this section. Nice to see that there are more collectors of watches. I have a couple of Tags already and a couple of other automatics but this will be my first Tag automatic. The wife is buying it for my 40th. Still have not decided if I want the cream or black faces but i had decided on the leather strap instead of the bracelet.

    Has anyone on here have one or have an opinion on this one?

    Me I'd be leaning towards black dial and like you the leather strap. Nice watch.

    I have a couple of black faced chronos already but i haven't ruled the black face but I've tried the White faced one on and it's very nice. Quite a large face too.

    I love the white one, and like you I'd go with a strap rather than a bracelet. Good luck with it, and congrats on finding such a generous wife!
