We are currently switching to VoIP as our telephone solution for our business. We have an existing irish provider and all that is fine, there is nearly no outages with this VoIP provider.

Should we also install an UPS (uninterupted power supply) for the phone system? we have a 'backup line' that is used for fax, alarm monitoring etc With eircom anyways, so we could forward the main line to the eircom one anyway.
The business operates an emergency service and getting through to the office is important, even if the power is interrupted, most of the clients know the emergency number which is a mobile anyway!

We would have it setup so the ATA's are connected to BB and analogue phones.

Also, would anyone know about an IVR system that is easy to install? Possibly a solution via virtual online, connect SIP to a server and manage it online.

    Thanks for your help!
