I am driving a friend to Dublin airport from Galway tomorrow. I am wondering if I will need to pay that etoll on the m50?

If I do will I have to pay it twice? (Up and back)

    And how much is it?

    Thanks.

Coming from N4 to airport on the M50 passes the toll.

€3 quid each way if a standard car, you can pay it online or in a lot of shops. You have until 8pm the next day or it double to €6.

You can pay the inward one in the airport but don't think you can prepay so best bet is do it online once home.

    just google m50 toll payment.

    Thanks Cookie_Monster.

€3 each way. They must be making a killing.

I know there is a €1.80 on the M6. Does anyone know if there is a toll on the M4. If so how much it that?

You can prepay two journeys on the same day, so if you want to do it in the airport for there and back you can.

Toll on the M4 is €2.90, between Enfield and Kilcock.

So it will cost me €15.40 just on tolls. :(
Would be nearly as cheap to fly. :P

    Thanks guys.

just don't tell the people in the shop that you're "prepaying". i saw an argument the last day where they insisted you could only do it after you went over it. just tell them you want to pay for 2 tolls!

you can always go by Loughrea, Ennfield and Dublin for free. Its just less safe and slower.

People are calling the euro "quid" now? Must've missed the beginning of this. I certainly know of nobody who calls it that.
