    Just to rattle a cage or two I tried to introduce ukulele into a Scor group with a mega Ceoltas ceoltori bent. I had the inevitable reply of "Sure thats not an irish instrument / thats not a real instrument". I countered with "Well the guitar is Spanish, The fiddle and mandolin are Italian, the bouzouki is greek, the banjo is african, the accordian is Italian (I think... I was on a roll!!!) Youre fecked so cos all you can use is bodhran , pipes and harp!!!!
    I then suggested that as the ukulele is from a small green island it should be considered:p
