Samsung N120 Netbook won't start Windows. stuck on black screen.

    Hi guys and girls :D

    Basically have a problem with a stupid Netbook :( friend of mine gave it to me to see what I can do.

    It started when she was on facebook and the netbook stopped working.

    Basically when I start it up it goes through samsong screen and then then a black screen with no operating system loading?

    At the start I can get into the BIOS menu or I can start system recovery, but when I try to go into system recovery it takes ages to load and in the end all I get is the cursor and a blank blue screen.

    I got an external disk drive (Brand new!) and set the computer to boot from the disk drive with windows XP Pro, but sadly to no effect (Bummer!) it says "Press any key to boot from CD" then says a disk screen error has accurred Press CTRL Alt and delete to restart.


    Now I would love to go to the pub but I have to try and get this sorted ha ha any ideas would be much appreciated ;)
