    Hi,
I was thinking of doing a make up course in Fuschia (Drogheda)..Just wondering had anyone done one before and if they are any good?
I just want to learn how to apply my own make up properly..They are running an offer at the moment for €100 and you get a free make up brush set.

    Thanks

I'm currently working with the makeup brand Fuschia, and its a heap of crap, to be completely honest. I'd personally do a makeup course where they would work with more than just one brand.

Do you mean the make up is crap or just the course that they run?

I haven't done the course, I'm just unfortunately working with the brand. It's overpriced and inferior to the brands that are costing the same price. Their brushes are good, but even if you disregard the products being crap, they're only going to train you with their products.

    Hi OP

I know a few people who have done the make up courses in Fuschia and have really enjoyed them and learned a lot. The make up brushes are lovely and whilst I haven't used any of their products as yet the ones I have had a nosey at seem really nice.
Obviously as you are looking to do something where you learn more about your own make up application etc then I wouldnt focus too much on what brand is used as I am sure you will have products and brands you like already and are just looking to learn application skills therefore its not overly important as to what brand you use and I would be more focusing on the level of skill of the teachers and in what you cover on the course. Plenty of time for you to then go and explore make up counters etc for any ideas you pick up on the course and buy any further products you might want.
I am currently doing a beauty course and I know our college do make up courses, everything from cert level to full make up artist diploma. I can honestly say that the teachers are fab and its a very nice enviroment to learn in, without any of the pretentiousness of some other places.
PM me if you want any more info, you can pop into the college to have a look and there is a lot of info on their website.
    Hope that helps
    Jenny
