I had a thread on this a few weeks ago. Got loads of suggestions from the lovely boardies.

Went with this guy in the end:

    http://www.irishentertainments.com/

Have to say he was very good. Came half an hour early to set up. Played until 12:30, even though only booked until 12. Cost €200 for 8pm - 12:30am. Played a really good mix of songs. :)

200 is not expensive at all for 8-12:30. In fact it's a lot cheaper than a lot of guys out there.

fully agree, hate guys going around undercutting others for work, 200 is a fair price

lmao , thats the most ridiculous thing i have heard in ages , you change your prices to suit the market and your customers needs , at the end of the day its business , and if it means undercutting your rivals to get the job then thats what you do.

you wont earn money being sound.
