    You're on dublin.ie too. Have you taken a look at the Arts and Culture forum with pics of old Dublin, some great pics there when they're not turn of the century but 50s and 60s.

    Got some great links off that forum. check out the still library from the RTE archive, great motorsport and street scene pics.

    Very possibly the visit of Cardinal Cushing from the US to open Galway Cathedral in late '65.

    I can't get over how busy it is and how many cars are parked! To put things into perspective, back 40 odd years ago the majority of families in this country did not own a car.
