Will UPC install this?

We have an installation booked this monday with UPC for a internet and phone.

We know for a fact that our coax cable is cut from renovation work work around 10yrs ago.
However our neighbour next door has UPC in their house and their terminal box is only 10-15 meters from ours.

Will this turn UPC off an installation because they need to install a new coax cavle?

if they think you already have the cable they might only dend out guy to install the box and he mightn't have the cable with him

the installer will refer the install to construction this could take ages, however my advise (im ex upc staff)let him do install dont tell him cable is cut when he finds out he will call some of his mates in yard to come over to fix it cause he will not get paid install untill you are a active customer
