    Hi,
    Hi just wondering if anyone could give me some honest opinions about this site. I designed it and I am looking for some help from a usability/design perspective??Any opinions would be greatly appreciated.

    Hey,
    I'll just throw out some thoughts as they come to me, ie without deep analysis because this is more similar to how people react to a new site on first view;

    1. The name and the tag line don't seem compliment each other. Alternatives for graduates sounds very academically oriented towards further study options and so on. Then "Share your travel stories with the world" sounds completely different. At this point (I have probably viewed the site for around ~5-10 seconds total by now), I don't know what the point of the site is, and I've already got conflicting concepts.

    2. The introductory paragraph explains a bit more, but I don't see why it is aimed directly at graduates? If I graduated 5 years ago, should I still be on the site? If I don't have a degree, should I just close the tab? If you are focusing in on the niche of new graduates, you need to correlate the content more because after around 20 seconds on the site I'm still not sure if the site is for me or not.

    3. "This can be done by quickly by" - grammar error.

    4. "You can now connect with Facebook"...Just replace this with the Facebook login button and a "or log in instantly with Facebook". It doesn't matter if it means repeating it twice on the site, a large milestone is getting people to log in, make it as easy for them as possible.

    5. The vertical list of options on the right hand side goes;
    • Other ideas
    • Work
    • Travel
    • Volunteer

    "Other ideas" should be last.

    6. You need a a favicon.

    7. I hate using numbers instead of words, so I don't like the name. And you spell it out in the very upper panel...your name should always be consistent.

    8. I would be putting the emphasis on Twitter rather than RSS.

    9. Part of the concept seems to be to encourage viewers to write their own stories...but there's no visual prompt to do so, nothing to explain the process. This displays a lack of focus from a usability perspective which detracts from the experience.

    Hope that helps.
