    Hi.
Bought a new television in December 2009 and it has developed a fault. This fault first came about in november 2010 and the television was taken away for a repair under the original guarantee.

The same problem has happened again-I contacted both manufacturer and retailer and both said it had nothing to do with them.

My question is-Under law,am i covered under the sale of goods and services act or EU Directive 1999/44/EC which states that a two year guarantee applies to the sale of all consumer goods within th EU?

You could argue that the repair wasnt good.
