    Well all,
Just from the Kevin McBride thread about him battling alcohol and now with Kelly Pavlik out of rehab and going to fight on the undercard of Mosley Pacman, has there been any boxers who after battling addictions got back to their previous height by winning a recognised belt?

Very few ,...... some can still hold their own , but they'll never be as good as they could have been .

many fallen examples , discipline remains paramount at WC level

    Manny pacquiao,
manages to box at the highest level while on drugs! (joke :p:D)

I cant think of any that have came back from fighting addiction to fight at the top level.

Im sure there are many stories of fighters in trouble with the law etc. and turned their lives around through boxing.
