    I think of you quite fondly
    when evening shadows fall
    and long to hear the melody
    of your footsteps in the hall

    I think of you quite fondly
    when children sing their rhymes
    and contemplation follows
    of loving bygone times

    And I think of you quite fondly
    when I hear a mothers call
    come in your dinner's ready
    and put away that ball

    I fondly think about you
    when I hear an old familiar song
    and a picture in my memory
    sees you sweetly sing along

    And when I think of someone
    who is steadfast, loyal and true
    sweet memories come flowing
    and I fondly think of you.
