Hi all - I wonder if you can help.

We're moving house and it could be a few years before we can move to a bigger place. In the meantime, we have to store some furniture.

Most can be stored in a relative's house, but we have to store one sofa in a garage. It's dry enough in there, but it will need protecting.

Someone suggested pallet wrap, as in the stuff used to wrap boxes on transit pallets (it's like industrial cling film).

Is this a good idea, or does anyone have a better suggestion?

Pad it with furniture pads (movers pads) and shrink wrap the whole thing.

Thanks Double Barrel. In the end, we used the cling film, and it looks like that will do the trick. There was a huge amount of it on the roll, so we wrapped the sofa in about three or four layers. It looks like Tutunkhamun now! :D
