    LIDL special on Saturday 12th Feb ONLY - those yummy frozen fresh cream and jam doughnuts in packs of 6 - says half price at 99c (though I recall them being 1.69 at some point in the past)

    AFAIK it's the same brand you see everywhere - can't remember the name - purple and blue package.

    I used to pig out on these years ago when I did a 1 hour commute - if I didn't put them safely in the boot only about half of them would reach home.....

    This is from the LIDL flier - haven't seen it on the website yet.

    These were as cheap in the distant past but the price had gone up and the cycle was broken... until now. Not really a bargain alert as new trousers and clothes will have to purchased to fit bulkier Bargain alert readers.

    Be wary, this is how a dealer gets you. Offers a product for cheap, you become addicted and then raises the price!!!:eek:
