    Hi,

    http://www.dcu.ie/electronics/post/programmes.shtml

I'm about to finish my lvl 7 course in DIT in June and I am just exploring the possibilities for next step. DIT will probably not run part-time lvl 8 in electronics next year so I have to find some other course.
Masters Qualifier (1 year pre-Masters course) requires a pass in a Level 8 Bachelor degree in a relevant discipline OR (in exceptional circumstances) a strong result in a Level 7 programme plus a miniumum 3 years’ relevant experience. The candidate must also demonstrate at interview that their qualifications and experience are satisfactory preparation for the programme. Successful completion of the Masters Qualifier allows entry to the M.Eng in Electronic Systems/M.Eng in Telecommunications)
    1. I was wondering what is strong for them?

    2. Is DCU modules level is much higher than DIT one?

It seems to be better to do that course and specialise in something and maybe try to do masters degree afterwards instead to do 3 years of lvl 8 at some other IT college and still not having a real specialisation.
