My twins were being bullied by their teacher. I complained to the headmaster and eventually to the board. This just resulted in the teacher picking on them more. nothing was done so I pulled my twins out of their school. I tried to get them into another local school but I was told they don't enroll mid year. Now the newb are trying to force me to send them back, Is there anything I can do to stop this happening?

Bullying by a teacher is a very serious accusation to make. Could you outline what you mean by this? Will make it easier to advise you. Not sure about the NEWB forcing you to send them back to the original school, couldn't answer that. byhookorbycrook is probably your best bet.

Actually a school can enrol mid-year, if they have space.Children may not be taken on the roll in one school until they have a place in another.
For complaints against teachers ,you need to follow the agreed complaints procedure.

As you removed the children from school-as opposed to the school say expelling them, the NEWB may try to insist in seeking a return to the first school,as they are still technically on the rolls there.I'm not sure where to tell you to turn, but I'd suggest you'd go back to the NEWB to let them know your children are out of school.

I don't want to go into to much detail but my children and another child (whose family are Jehovahs Witnesses) were being constantly picked on for their religious beliefs, or not in our case.

Detail on an open forum not needed. But i do suggest you have a look at the offical procedure for complaints ,as ,if has not been followed, the DES won't want to know.
