    hi, i have 2 x 500gb drives and 2 x 2tb drives in my pc.

I have win 7 installed on 1 500gb drive, and the other 500drive is kinda sitting there doing nothing. the 2 x 2tb drives are just storage.

would raid 0 make any significant increase in performance?

i know a ssd would be better, but i cant afford one. Im not bothered about data loss as i do regular backups - restores to an external drive. really so raid 1 is kinda pointless for me.

    so any thoughts?
