some good prices on different products but i only took note of the above.

as an aside, they're now selling the amazon kindle ereader instore at 149 (wifi only version) and i think 199 for the 3g/wifi version.

Actually I saw many of these in store in Cork 2 weeks ago. I assume they are still there. It's almost worthy of a BA? For a bricks and mortar store anyhow.

PC world Wateford branch doesn't have the T20 speakers - pity because they sound like a good deal (the bigger T40s were there at €129).

Took a brief look at the hard drive section and the only deal I could see was on a 1TB version of the drive the OP mentioned.

Speaking for Waterford PCW only - might be different story in other branches.

Picked this up on amazon last week for €91 free delivery. Very quite and it doesn't get hot.

Just back from Pc World now. I think your link might be wrong. It's not the World Edition II, it's just world edition. It was €160 as well, not €110. Good price for the hard drive though.

It hooked up to time machine no bother and just backing up now. I'm gonna transfer all my films over later and see what the download speeds are like when watching.

for the record, the link was correct - mybook world edition II for €150, altho' there was only one in stock.

there are/were 2TB my book essentials (iirc) for 109.99

currys have/had 2TB my book elites for €119.99
