please help me unbrick my xbox benq drive.........

hi urgent help needed plz..i tried to update to new lt+1.1 firmware and my computer froze so i had to hard reboot and now my console is sitting with the little green light flashing and my drive wont open...also when i connect xbox to sata card my computer freezes while its connected so cant reflash untill i fix this freezing problem..i tried uninstalling pci card but it still happens..if this has happened to u and u fixed it plz pass it on,thanks

Seems as though it's stuck in intro mode, try send outro with jungle flasher and then intro once again the flash chip properties should come up in the panel if you want send it to me and I'll try sort it

i know how to do it..... my computer freezes when i connect my drive to sata card..anyway round this at all as its very annoying

Well in my experience my computer has never froze on a benq your set up is more likely to blame, check your sata controller driver in device manager it should have an exclamation mark beside it

i checked that and its fully installed...would it be the computer itself.if u could give me a good tutorial on how to fix this would be brilliant.when i turn it on and connect it it freezes.when i hit outro it does the same..thanks again

should there be a exclamation mark beside the controller for it to work cos there was and it asked me to reboot for it to work

It's got to be the driver I've seen this before

Firstly disable the sata controller in device manager

Then go to windows\system32\drivers

Find viamraid.sys and/or vsmraid.sys delete these files

Reboot and reenable the sata controller this should sort freezing issues

Leave it as is, are you using a Ck3 or Xbox to power the drive?

ya i deleted all those files about 15 i think and rebooted it and it gave me that yellow exclamation mark and i tried it and flashed it..thanks again

<--- This! You were only supposed to delete 2 files at most. I suspect you might hve trouble using VIA hardware down the line.

Press Windows Key + R and type 'sfc /scannow'
