I'm relatively new to amazon. This may be a silly question but I ordered a component cable for my xbox, delivery estimate Jan 31st and still has not arrived. Is amazon known for dodgy sellers or am I just impatient??

I would say your safe enough with the sellers as amazon will be responsible for the sale if you bought through their site, probably just a few days late, i got some items and they were a day or 2 late as well.

the first thing would to contact the seller,I have been buying from Amazon for the last 3 years and never had a problem with dodgy sellers,I can only presume that the item is shipped out from outside EU but purchased from a warehouse place in UK.
Would you have a link for the item in question?

    you should be ok

they have decent feedback rating and use Amazon distribution services

Fulfilment by Amazon (FBA) is a service Amazon offers sellers that lets them store their products in Amazon's warehouses, and Amazon directly does the picking, packing, shipping and customer service on these items. Something Amazon hopes you'll especially enjoy: FBA items are eligible for FREE Super Saver Delivery and for just as if they were Amazon items.

(Patience is the name of the game) but give us an update when you get the item/or not

I've bought loads from Amazon and at time of snow deliveries took about 7 days and during Jan I ordered stuff for kids which took 19 days for some reason - so stick with it.

Never had a problem with them.

Yea i dont mind waiting at all for the differences in prices. I order lots of stuff from all over the place, saves a small fortune.
