Flooding expected tonight?

With the high winds and high tide due at 5:40ish, just surprised no sand bags have been put down along the beaches.

They colsed of a few roads alnog the different strands a few months back in a similar situation. Would I be wrong in saying that some areas may be at risck to costal flooding?

It's not monster tide, 4.2 metres, the wind is offshore and the rivers aren't flooded. I don't think it will be that bad. Big winds though Nabber, gale force.

Didn't realise Waterloo road was closed because of that,RIP.
Their was a bit of a commotion on D'Olier st earlier too,not sure what happened but the FB were doing a clean up,Ambulance in attendance too.

pallets of sand bags were left in the car parks on strand road in sandymount on wednesday night.
