car hire for 20 year old

just wondering if anyone knows if it's feasible for a 20 year old to hire a car in southern Italy for a few days? anything with an engine and wheels would do! clean license, will have 3 years clean driving on a full license by the time I'd be going.. thoughts?

There are two ways that you can choose from to hire a car. One way is to search hard for a car rental company that will let you hire a car at some underage fee. Secondly let any elder to hire a car for you and list you as an additional driver. This way you get legal right to drive that car and also the same insurance will remain valid.
