I was just wondering how much would it cost for a site exactly like www.dominos.ie to design, programme and run? I know its a very vague question so vague answers would be accepted...Thanks

To actually design the site, €500-1000 (to tens of thousands, if you bring in market research, testing, etc). However the Dominos site would be quite expensive to develop functionally and run, because they have extensive backoffice tie-ins to the stores, and they'll draw quite a lot of traffic. It's impossible to enumerate unless you want to provide the number to stores and research the level of backoffice middleware required.

    Rough estimates:

Basic design (ASPX template and setup simple text only pages): €500-2000

The Logic (pizza ordering system including address verification, Google Map integration, pizza menu options, payment processing): €5-15k+

He means by "design" how the thing looks. A bit like the chassis of a car with no engine, steering, electrics etc. Pretty useless in fact.

Assuming you have the design it would cost 5K+ from a good freelancer and if you hire a company to do it € 50K+ for something like dominos.
