Customs fees for non-cash promotional items

Used up some promotion points to order an item of clothing. The item has been stopped by Customs asking for a PayPal receipt which can't be done as PayPal have nothing to do with this matter. The item was ordered direct and there's no cash value indicated anywhere on the site or in My Promotions. Anybody have experience of…

fwiw for the benefit of others who might bump into this issue.

No charges, not even the €6 admin fee. Prompt responses from Revenue too. Next day delivery. All good.
