    Hi folks,
    There has been a scam going around for sometime now but it seems to be effecting a fair few people in Waterford so I felt the need to post up an important notice. If you get a phone call from someone claiming to be Microsoft, saying you have a problem with your PC/Laptop - its FAKE. Even if you do have a problem, it is NOT Microsoft. They are directing you to a website called "logmein123.com", installing malicious software and also charging your credit card which they ask you to give them.

    I repeat, no matter how nice or genuine they sound, Microsoft are not calling you.

    A reminder to all, have up to date Anti Virus software and a Firewall on your computer at all times.
