Just wondering what the requirements are concerning this for ICAI.
Its my first year fully qualified and on top of €600 approx of membership fees, I/my employeer has to shell out for 25 hours of these courses with each course costing about 200 quid.
So i guess my question is what are other newly qualifieds doing about these additional costs.

There are some free CPD resources that you can do via podcasts and slides.

The Irish Taxation Institute have some on their site: www.taxireland.ie.
You need a log in so ask your partner for his - theres about four or five hours on there.

Heres a link to some on the ACCA site:
    http://ireland.accaglobal.com/ireland/members/tech_info/online_cpd/free_courses

Im hoping to get together with my colleagues and do some of the online video ones together and share the cost - its kind of freaking me out how much I have to do along with the cost of the subscriptions.

If anyone has any other good resources Id be interested to know.
