I want to cancel my XBLA subscription. Now I know I have to ring them but I will be doing this through a mobile. Is this going to cost me a fortune? (Nice way to discourage people from cancelling M$) Which is cheaper for a mobile, +353 12420758 or 1 800 509 186?

Also what's the best deal for buying subscriptions online right now. Is the 12 month sub with 2100 points mentioned in the sticky still available?

Thanks. I tried the 1800 number but it said "this number is not available to call in your region", or something like that. So when I rang them on the other number I was asked why I was cancelling. I said because it's too expensive and I can get it for about forty Euro online. So the guy said as I've been with them for so long they would renew it for 36 Euro for 12 months.:D

I don't see any "M$" references in that reply. :pac:

Eh, isn't it currently ~€36 on the Dashboard, with 2 free games? Lulz, you still got shafted

Yeah, just checked, it's €35.99 on the Dashboard with a free copy of The Maw and R-Type Dimensions :pac:

But, I'm sure Microsoft still really appreciate your custom over the last few years ;)

That doesn't appear for everyone though. For instance in the UK, some Gold subscribers are getting an offer for £23.99 and others are getting £39.99.

I have not seen it anywhere on the dash board. All I see is an option to renew it for two years and save 25 Euro. It wouldn't matter as I have both of those games anyway. I'm just glad I didn't let it auto renew and get charged sixty quid again.
