What's the story with the fans turning the other way and jumping up and down after they score a goal?

They copied it from a bunch of Poles that visited their ground earlier in the season.

I saw a team do it in the champions league last year or the year before.
They were so organised and did all sorts of nuts stuff during the game. They would go almost silent too and then all shout out something. Anyone remember this?

Was anyone watching the FA Cup game at Leicester?

Original or not, their travelling support seem like some bunch of fans.

AEK did it at Goodison last year when they were 4-0 down. Classic stuff

I know Northern Ireland and Hibernian have done it for quiet some time.

Slovakia did it in Croker back in 2007 and looks class.(facing the pitch)

Look like the ground is rocking, love for Ireland to do it.

Pity City dont turn and face the pitch and pity they have to copy another side.

But thats City fans for you.;)

Sadly Young has just passed away so we'll be seeing it out in force again at the weekend.

What's the story with the fans turning the other way and jumping up and down after they score a goal?

I saw that long time back in Germany. 1999 it was, when Borussia Dortmund played away to Frankfurt. Borussia was 3:0 down, playing like a bunch of eejits.
The whole away section (6000-7000) turning around, jumping up and down, singing 'Jingle Bells' :D

Bursaspor fans where doing it as well and not only after scoring a goal like the City fans(were 3-0 down at the time)

    Fast forward to 0.45

City don't just do it after a goal either.

I found it fairly odd seeing the City fans doing it, considering how they reacted to it when they were first introduced to it by the Polish.

Ill be in staying in a city North of Poznan this Summer, Ill be heading back down to the see them play again, though. Unbeatable atmosphere. Dont ya just wish you were born on the continent.
